This is a plant for a large tank. In my 125 Walstad-type natural planted tank, It takes up about a third of the tank. I also have several planted in pots with topsoil topped by gravel in my 120 and 150 gallon tanks along with smaller ones growing-out in pots in my smaller tanks. It's happy with 2 wpg. Swords are heavy root feeders and do very well planted in topsoil. When using regular or high tech substrates, you may want to add a root fert tab under the plant.
