Stem plants are plants that grow stems from the base and are propogated by cutting the stems and replanting them. When sold, these cut stems are bunched together. All of our stem plants have at least four or five stems to a bunch, (many that have very thin stems will have several times more stems to a bunch) Usually these cut stems do not have roots when you buy them, but under proper lighting will quickly take root. Many of our bunch plants have the added bonus of being already rooted if they have been in our tanks long enough

Aqua Botanic pays higher prices to their suppliers to get larger than normal bunches when available. Typically our bunches are a third or more taller and bushier than what you find elsewhere.
